Community and Culture
Bowdoin is a community of people with different identities and different lived experiences. From our students and employees who come from every corner of the globe to our daily guests and visitor who seek out Bowdoin for classes, lectures, exhibits, performances, and more, we are given the opportunity to engage with difference on a daily basis.
For many members of our community, finding affinity groups or using an academic lens to explore and better understand their group or identity is an integral aspect of the experience at Bowdoin. On this page you will find information about various facets of campus life that are important to highlight. We are committed to updating this section regularly and adding new information about community life. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to oid@ejly.net if you have ideas for additional pages or topics to explore.
